I wasn't sure about Reiki and it's benefits when I enrolled on my first workshop with April. It was one of the most beneficial things I have ever done. I have been treated by April for many years, as well as April being my Reiki teacher. I have been through many jounrneys with April. REIKI 1ST Degree Reiki 1st degree is suitable for people that wish to learn how to self treat and heal themselves, family, friends, pet and plants. Reiki 1st degree is a pre-requisite for further Reiki degrees and in addition to this I expect the student to have continued to practise Reiki for a period of six months before embarking on 2nd degree Reiki, in order to adapt and gain experience of this special healing energy.
Each workshop is run over two days from 10am-4pm in Durston, Somerset, UK. Accomodation at reasonable rates can be arranged locally if requested. Cost for 2010 £150, payment can be made by three instalments, please ask me for details. PAYPAL, cash or cheque accepted. REIKI 2nd Degree Reiki 2nd degree is appropriate for students that wish to continue their own spiritual development and/or wish to progress towards professional status. Students should have completed Reiki 1st Degree at least six months previously and be able to show eveidence of practise. It is my experience that students need time to assimilate their learning and the Reiki energy, which can be life changing. At this level student receive further attunment and the fiirst three Reiki symbols which enhance the Reiki healing energy.
Cost for 2010 £200 for two day non-residential course. Payment can be made by instalment please ask. Paypal accepted. REIKI MASTER DEGREE This is only open to those students who have completed 1st and 2nd degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and can demonstrate practise and learning. If you have trained with another Reiki Master other than myself I will need to see what you have learned so far and you must have evidence of your Reiki lineage going back to Mikao Usui Sensei. I teach Reiki Master Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher separately. The Teacher element is offered as a short apprenticeship, whereby you would be required to assist me at Reiki shares and Reiki workshops. This will give you experience of planning your own workshops, teaching others and in giving attunements under supervision, prior to receiving your Master Teacher certificate. I feel that this is important in helping maintain high standards in the Reiki community. Please do contact me to discuss the full requirements for this degree. Cost is normally £350 for Master Practitioner and a further £350 for Master Teacher. INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE This one day workshop will either equip you to practise on yourself, your family and friends (non-professionally) or you can use the skills that you learn here to complement your other Anatomy, Physiology and Massage qualifications, in which case you can practise Indian Head Massage professionally. At the end of the workshop you will receive a Certificate of attendance and an Indian Head Massage manual. The course is approved for Insurance purposes through IPTI, (Independent Professional Therapists International) providing you have other recognised massage qualifications. Indian Head Massage can be used to alleviate stress, relax or invigorate. the treatment involves a variety of massage techniques applied to the head, face, neck,shoulders and upper back. It is a short but effective therapy, promoting feelings of well being and relaxation. The workshop will teach you a Indian Head Massage routine and will cover basic anatomy & physiology.
