April Krystina Skupien ITEC, IHBC, Dip Hyp, REIKI MASTER, MICHT, MFHT I am an experienced Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, and hold ITEC and IHBC qualifications in Anatomy, Physiology & Massage Therapies. I also have attained a HE Diploma in Health Care Studies, and a Hypnotherapy Diploma. I am currently a member of FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists.) I have several years experience in the caring professions & to ensure high standards for my clients and students I am continually developing my skills. In addition to this I am an experienced vocalist and have combined my Reiki Healing knowledge and singing on a Reiki music CD with local songwriter/composer Susie Whiter. |

BIO:I have been a complementary therapist for several years, and first became interested in complementary therapies when I studied nursing in the 1990's. I began by learning massage and then became intrigued by hands on healing. My experience of healing began when I was suffering from recurrent illness, I had tried all the orthodox treatments and nothing was helping. I remembered that I had worked with someone who did spiritual healing, so decided to ask for her help. As co-incidence or fate would have it she had just set up a healing group. This was a group of people with different healing skills. To cut a long story short, I went along and experienced both spiritual healing and Reiki Healing, both turned out to be wonderfully beneficial. I soon started to recover form my illnesses and other things began to change too. My life suddenly turned around, I felt very drawn to learn Reiki healing for myself and soon found a wonderful Reiki Master. I studied Reiki over a period of many years and since then have not looked back. I can truthfully say Reiki changed my life for the better and complements all of the therapies that I provide . |
